Be Intentional on Election Day
In 1999, three independents held the balance of power in Victoria when the election resulted in a stunning rebuke of the major parties and a hung parliament. Together, they honored public frustrations and compelled the government to adopt the Independent’s Charter for Good Governance. A proven path to the open, accountable governance we deserve.
Vote with Purpose
When you're informed and intentional, your vote helps shape the future you want to see for yourself, your family and your community.
Use the power of your preferences
To ensure your vote still carries weight through preferencing, rank the major parties 2nd thru 5th from least objectionable to most.
“To save Victoria, we need a Minority Government, backed by a few principled independents.”
Deny your 1st preference to the major parties
Disrupt the two-party competition for majority rule and insist they govern instead. Party leaders and shadow ministers cannot build a future in which we can all live and thrive. Party politics won’t allow it.
Don’t Gamble on Extremists
Rank extreme candidates last to ensure they don’t gain a foothold in Victoria’s democracy as they have elsewhere.
